What is SmartMaps?
A project that is dedicated to developing dynamic maps that promote safer and more environmentally friendly driving behavior.
The implementation of the SmartMaps project includes the use of numerous complementary high-resolution data. An integral part of the project will be the monitoring of drivers via smartphone sensors for the collection of daily naturalistic driving data under real conditions using the existing OSeven application. Subsequently, processing and analyses of the collected trip data will follow through the development ofContinue reading “How does SmartMaps work?”
The Kick-off meeting of the SmartMaps research project was conducted online with great success, on 20 October 2021 aiming at initiating the project activities. During the SmartMaps kick-off meeting, partners had the chance to lay the ground for a successful and productive collaboration in order to meet the project objectives. Decisions on key issues were made and the first steps of the work were scheduled.
